February Check In & Latest Thoughts

Hello Everyone. Its been a little while since I did a blog post for this website.

If you have been on the Machine World Steam Discussions page recently then you may have noticed many threads ( that are called and recently have been merged ) called Support/Don't Support Machine World. The supporting threads were made out of frustration as I had enough of certain members ( In my opinion ) not really understanding the points of View of the head developer Daniel.

I also made for a short time the hashtag #justleave, which I do not think was completely the right thing to do, but will aim re do the tweets I made under the hashtag shortly. What I will say now is what I should have said instead of telling people to just walk away from the game. I would like to reiterate that I totally understand why you are upset with Daniel and have the real need to have a update even it is a really tiny bug fix update as Solid proof of commitment. However I need you to understand that some issues really can take many many years to resolve, and while this comment and similar comments may do very little to simmer down your frustrations I would like to say that these issues that Daniel are facing are a very real but rare mixture of events. Which is why it took me a very long time to truly understand Daniels position in regards to his personal life.

I would like to Thank again Floris for most recent Address ( mentioned above ) on the exchange of threads and comments that went on. I will admit that I was not aware that Floris was A Machine World Steam Discussions Moderator. However I do think he is 100 percent one of the right people for the job!

I have never mentioned this since my 2016 trinogames.com ban but I often ask myself "How I would feel if I was offered a Moderator position?" My answer to this is that I will wait to be asked if Daniel wants to ask me. I will only offer to be part of that team if he asks. I will not pressure Daniel or be in pursuit of this role. Overall I am not expected to be offered, but would apply one more time if that route of opportunity came up. However my comfort zone is currently running this website and supporting the game itself is my main focus more than a moderator role.

On the mention of the website I plan to add the wiki sites for both games in the not to distant future depending on what happens. I also need to plan what role this website would have once the official Trino Games forums return online. I hope to communicate with Daniel on this and more once the opportunity arises and more!

I will now end this blog post by saying that tweets and blog posts will come as significant updates become public for all of us. And when any thoughts I have arise.
